House Band Service
Students who are accepted
into the HB program are challenged musically, get to rehearse and play with
other students of similar caliber, have a great deal of FUN, learn a lot about
teamwork and, especially about what it takes to be in a band. Their
skills grow exponentially as they gain both rehearsal and performance
experience. House Band also helps create leadership skills and
independence among it’s members. House Band members are the first to
receive special opportunities that come up from time to time as they are the
leadership of SOR and their dedication and skills is something to be rewarded.
Having said all of this, the biggest and most compelling reason for being
in House Band is that you LOVE music and performing and want to do more of it.
